Last Thursday 25th of April, IN2 had the opportunity to participate in the 13th edition of the RDI TIC Social Health Conferences, under the slogan "Building inclusion with AI in social services" and organized by the Fundació TIC Salut Social and the Càtedra TIC Salut Social of the University of Vic.
Agnès Aguiló, our manager of the Health and Social Unit, highlighted in her speech not only the importance of AI Governance and the detection of biases in its implementation but also our M3 methodology for the detection of biases. Agnès showed these concepts using as an example the IA+Igual project, focused on addressing bias in Artificial Intelligence to promote fairness and impartiality in the context of human resources, but also extensible to other areas.
In addition, during the event, we were able to introduce Catalina, our virtual assistant. Catalina solved all the doubts related to the Dependency procedures of the Generalitat de Catalunya, of those who came to our stand. In this way, we were able to approach the objective of this project: to develop a solution that allows us to answer citizens' questions in simple language and through an accessible and intuitive platform.
